dLab Global is based on UDD’s award-winning dLab program which is a 2 Semester program offered to around 80 final year students from 5 different Faculties. The program includes over 180 hours of teaching and was recently approved as an undergraduate Diploma based on its extensive curriculum and unique teaching methodology.
The program is managed by iCubo, UDD’s Innovation and Interdisciplinarity Institute which was founded by 3 Faculties; Engineering, Business and Design in order to develop undergraduate and postgraduate programs around the central themes of innovation and interdisciplinary education. The dLab Program was originally developed together with the Stanford Technology Ventures Programa (STVP) based at Stanford University, which is consistently ranked the Nº1 university in the world in terms of innovation. The dLab program will celebrate its 10th anniversary in 2021 with over 600 alumni.
